Family Tree 04:35
where do you go when you go who do you call when you call home would you cut off a piece of it for me dig deep, bury it under autumn leaves keep it covered and soon enough you'll see buds are blossoming on our family tree would you ever go alone could you even call it home
2.
Habit 03:33
in port deposit i was afraid of the things i thought you would say fingers tensing around your neck what keeps a habit in check the nails you scratch, the lips you bite the looks you catch, the car you sold the hand that feeds is getting cold the teeth that rot, the couch you crash the shot you spike, the check you bounce the match you strike, the bridge you burn the dice you roll and never learn the sleep you lose, the fear you fight it's just not like me to intervene
3.
Alkali Moon 03:57
you drive in circle eights fanning the first of may open and closed bearing a starker face keeping alarming pace searching for higher ground whether fixed or found you fall into place go with an eye toward june sowing the seeds of soon you double back and then weathering the wind begin to bloom alkali moon
4.
Dreamboat 02:35
you come and go, readjusting the sails keeping course for no one up from below, a familiar sway leeward in the low sun, beating on a doldrum we're on a dreamboat where would you go if you could would you tell me if it wasn't good or would you lay back and float in the wind is it even undertow if it's where you wanted to go follow the way back to where we begin
5.
candy apple bobby boy you make a meal of it when he gets angry, dinner at the tv set he's coming to collect payment and respect city boy sedentary bodies hover in the open air when you're wary sorry lover with a hope and prayer pick your poison bobby copping out to unaware and when you have it made empty pale and staid city boy never knew the strength of his own hands watch the water drip from the offering stand while the offer still stands yellow moon bringing out a darker shade of shame in my room come quick while the other one fans an untenable flame for a long time coming it's a long time past but the days get colder and the days go fast and the blood on the corner of your mouth dries black if you feed him caraway he won't come back and i understand and i'll be your man

Incinerator 05:08
it's 7:30whatever i keep an eye on the door she traces out the familiar on someone's laminate floor and you are closing the curtains while i am sweeping the stage you are a change in the weather and it's been raining for days his body races and rumbles for you to come and collect we are a sunken cathedral why bother holding your breath when you wake up in the morning and i am climbing the stairs and you are suffering sweetly and i am trying to care it's not enough for you why would you suffer through it's an embarrassment i'm taking care of it it's my favorite technique for rainy days and losing sleep just take the lighter off the shelf and set a fire to yourself incinerator
